Germy Experiment!

Using glitter and glue, we showed how germs were spread from one person to the next.

In Health we are learning about ways to keep the germs away! Our science teacher Ms.Yuen conducted an exciting experiment to show us how germs are spread. First, we talked about why it was important to wash our hands. Then we looked at pictures of germs and guessed what they were.

What do YOU think the image is?

Here are some guesses when we asked our students what they saw:

KM: 'It's a tiny amoeba. They live in the sea.'
LK: 'It's spiky and green!'
EC: 'Are those hot dogs?'

We talked about what germs were and how they were spread. We learned how to do the 'sleave sneeze' to stop the spreading of germs and we also learned how to wash our hands properly.

Washing our hands keep the germs away!

Ask your child to teach you the hand washing song!
