The New Creature!!!

                   We have had the terrarium in our class since the beginning of the school year, but the learners have just begun to take an interest in it. Some of them wondered if there was a 'creature' living inside. As a response, we have decided to look at the possibilities of having a new addition to our class!

Snake, Hermit Crab, Spider & Lizard

                      During our many discussions, we decided that these were the animals that were best suited for this living environment. There were many learners that really, really, really wanted to have a monkey join our class! "Just a tiny one." But we talked about the size of the terrarium and that there isn't a species of monkey that would fit comfortably in the terrarium :(

We still have 3 votes before we know the results!

                      Once we have tallied the votes we will then have to go to the library and do some research. Will this habitat help keep the creature alive? What food does it it eat? What temperature will it need? How will we make sure that we provide it with all of the things it needs to survive? Who will take care of the creature? And many more...
